Book me for a workshop!
I offer one-hour workshops for children ages 4 – 12, available to schools, day camps, and birthday parties in urban Ottawa. You can also book me for a virtual workshop, from anywhere in the world! Les ateliers peuvent être présentés en anglais ou en français.
Through a combination of instruction and humorous skits, my unique characters and I will take you on a tour of the different styles of puppetry: hand puppets, shadow puppets, and marionettes. Anything can be a puppet!
The workshop will work in any venue, requiring only space and a table. We’ll also make a fun and simple rod puppet craft together – get creative and build your own character!
Pacing and content are easily adapted to suit children with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, or attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder; or adults with physical and psychiatric disabilities.
Please provide the following craft supplies:
- toilet rolls (one per child)
- popsicle sticks (one per child)
- masking tape
- decorations! (markers, googly eyes, pom poms, feathers, etc.)
