Here I am at the 2009 Puppets Up! festival, with the first version of the faceless puppet I built for my upcoming film "Face". I was ultimately unsatisfied with this build. His head was a styrofoam ball, carved out to accommodate my hand, but the spherical shape looked unrealistic. His neck was a sock, which left a gaping hole in the collar. And his body was too small to fill out the (child-sized) shirt properly. I rebuilt him.
