	The Abstractions are a puppet troupe created and performed by Grant Harding. Harding is involved annually with the Puppets Up! international puppetry festival in Almonte, Ontario. He has attended workshops and master classes with Peter Balkwill, Richard Coombs, Matt Ficner, Tim Gosley, Trish Leeper, John Pattison, and members of the Czech troupe Docela Velke Divadlo. Harding's body of work includes collaborations with slam poet Oni the Haitian Sensation and up-and-coming singer/songwriter Kellen Barrett, and his videos and mechanisms have been featured on various puppetry blogs. He has presented over forty puppetry workshops to children of all ages. Harding is also a volunteer camera and audio operator for Rogers Television, and an occasional member of the performing group The Renfrews. The Abstractions are currently based in Ottawa, Ontario.
